FAQ: What should the pressure be in my boiler and do I need to top it up?

Boiler Pressure
When your heating system is cool - normal pressure should be between 1-1.5 bar on the pressure gauge (usually located on the front of your boiler)
If your water pressure is below 0.5 bar as your boiler has has water loss and it will need refilling.
If your boiler pressure rises more than 1 bar when your boiler is heating up, you will need to contact us as your boiler may need re-pressurising.
How often should I be topping up my boiler pressure?
This should be done once or twice a year, if your boiler requires more than this you may need to have your boiler serviced.
